The children in the Toddler One (Tiger Tots) class are 12 to 24 months. The ratio in this class is 4:1 with a maximum of eight children.

The Toddler One Class at Little Learners has a wonderful age appropriate learning environment. It is at this age that we begin fostering the concepts of sharing and playing with others.

Their communication skills are enhanced with song and constant communications between teacher and child. There is a weekly theme, which enables each child to have great sensory stimulation as they do hands on art with crayons, paint, glue and other safe materials.

They also receive sensory stimulation through music, finger play, special snacks, fragrances and a brightly colored classroom. Each child begins this class on their own schedule and is gradually worked into a routine schedule in preparation for Toddler Two. (Some of the transitions include using spoons, sippy cups, plates and sleeping on cots)
